Grace and Peace has developed a mobile medicine program where we go into a poor area and treat anywhere from 100 to 500 poor Dominicans and Haitians, providing them with free medicines as well. We have developed prenatal programs in several churches, providing the pregnant ladies with calcium and prenatal vitamins. We hold a small church service beforehand, ministering to those in attendance, with many making commitments. We are helping individuals with severe cases of epilepsy, children who have had strokes as well as raising money to help those needing urgent surgery. We provide a unique opportunity for doctors, dentists and nurses from the States to come and conduct a free medical clinic in Barahona and the surrounding area.
